On Thursday 31st August, 20 teachers who operate as professional development facilitators for the Goethe Institut in Australia were flown to Melbourne for the first ever national Multiplikatoren meeting.
The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany and among many things supports the learning and teaching of the German language internationally. The focus of the meeting was on #CLIL – content integrated learning – more specifically #CLILiG (in German).
In addition to having Dr. Simone Smala teaching us a little more about CLIL, fantastic discussions were had, experiences of teachers who are already engaging in the approach were shared and ideas for implementation exchanged.
Thanks to Goethe-Institut Australien for facilitating this meeting and thanks to the Multi team for welcoming me on board!
