Tanz mit mir in Lederhosen

Equal parts ridiculous and amazing, ‘Tanz mit mir in Lederhosen’ is LingoTech’s Schuhplattler with a twist. The song’s lyrics are simple instructions for the dance moves which allow students to learn and actively practise vocabulary for body parts, directions and actions.

The video clip does get a bit weird but I guess that’s part of its charm. The kids do find some of the moves pretty funny and seeing just how little coordination some have will probably make you giggle too.

On the Lingotech website you can also purchase an 8 page workbook with lyrics, choreography, teacher tips and suggestions for classroom exercises. Or of course you can just wing it!

The clip in all its glory can be found on YouTube here or on the LingoTech website.
